Wedding photos perserve memories from your special day, and photo booths are a popular option to add personality to any wedding. Unfortunately, photo booths can be very expensive and often have time limits and constraints on the number of photos that can be taken. But you can still have a photo booth; just get creative and make your own--and save money and other resources while you're at it!

Hang a sheet or tablecloth that matches the wedding scheme as a backdrop using clothesline and clips. You can also choose vintage or repurposed fabrics.
Use your own digital camera, or rent some from a service like CameraRenter.com to avoid wasteful disposable cameras and unusable photos. Make sure to set the camera up on a tri-pod and test the angle on yourselves to make sure the photos are centered.

Take some funny shots before the wedding and hang them around the photo booth area to give your guests ideas! To make it even easier set the camera up with a remote cord or shutter release for the guests to take photos of themselves, so no one has to get left out.

Have fun with it! Make sure to include amusing accessories or word blurbs to give guests the opportunity to express themselves in a fun and eco-friendly way! Instead of set word blurbs you could always use whiteboards with markers to let each guest individualize their photo.

Ask your friends and family members to go through their closets and attics to find suitable props for your photo booth--funny hats, feather boas, sunglasses, or costume jewelry. This is a great way to entertain guests and create lasting priceless memories of your celebration.

To add a special "thank you" to all your guests after your wedding, print out the digital photos from the booth and embellish them using any photo program. Send them out to your guests so they can enjoy the memories from your big day!
