Warm up with these cool winter wedding food trends for the upcoming season
You can get in the spirit of the season without overdoing the green and red decor. Give gingerbread men decked out in white and black frosting tuxedos and gowns as favors. They will be a hit with guests and they will be gobbled down in no time! Candy stations are another great way to conserve resources and keep everyone satisfied. Use your own glass containers from home and fill them with candy. They can be reused again once the party is over. Instead of a colorful candy display you can dress down your winter stand in white and silver candies for a clean and crisp look!
Terrariums are a very popular trend as take home gifts for your guests and they can also double as beautiful table decor!
Terrariums are fun and easy to make! To start you can buy glass fish bowls or even recycle light bulbs for a tiny terrarium. Place a one inch layer of small gravel on the bottom of the glass container. Find some good draining potting soil and fill it to the proper height depending on the size of your glass. Then, take your plant, make a depression in the soil, and firm the soil around the plant being careful not to overcrowd! Repeat this step for each plant and lightly water your terrarium.
Ray Hooper Design is very proud to introduce the first product from a new partnership with the New York Botanical Garden. The Holiday Boxed Note Card Set is perfect for the season. It features two original illustrations from the one and only NY Botanical Garden’s extensive archival collection featuring crimson, ivory and evergreen tones to set your holiday mood.
In the winter, seasonal blossoms can be hard to come by. Flower alternatives, like these uniquely elegant button bouquets, are a colorful, eco-friendly possibility. Added bonus: they never wilt, so they can take a special place in your new home where they'll be a permanently gorgeous reminder of your wedding day.
Warm up a winter wedding with soft light from sustainable rice paper lanterns. Choose different sizes and hang them non-symetrically to mimic the look of snowflakes falling.
It's that time of year again! The holidays are over...so what am I talking about? Engagement season! Most guys (about 40%) propose from November through February, and that's good because once January hits, nothing else exciting is happening.
As a new bride-to-be, of course, you want to shout this news from the rooftops.
