I work to make each event a bit greener, showing couples ways to be eco-friendly while staying on budget. We offer rentals, group meetings, where a couple gets to meet with all the vendors in one spot and try to find as many local vendors for them. We host a bridal event each year, showcasing only CT vendors, something like this isn't offered anywhere else in the state. My office only uses recycled paper, I don't print anything unless really required and items we don't use are unplugged. I have all energy star items in my home and office. I've been upgrading the house and am working on having a few solar panels added, just to keep my office levels lower. I use recycled products, I recycle as much as I can from each event, and I work to provide my clients a chance to see how being eco-friendly will not only benefit them but the planet. I call it the "Double Green Effect" saving money and the planet.
