The global fair trade movement seeks to strengthen and promote equitable and sustainable trading partnerships. The goal of these partnerships is to create opportunities and alleviate poverty around the world.  Conditions of the Fair Trade designation include fair prices, fair labor conditions, direct trade, transparent organizations, community development, and environmental sustainability. Buying fair trade products ensures the production of your goods has had a positive impact on people and the planet.

Ethically Produced

Products made outside the US that have been handpicked from companies that employ fair wage and labor practices, as well as small-scale sustainable production methods. Profits from the sale of these products directly benefit the local artisanal communities where goods are made.

Natural Material

Any material that comes from plants, animals, or minerals and is used without significant modification or processing. Natural materials include biotic materials, such as wood and natural fibers, and inorganic materials including stone, metal, and clay.

TransFair USA, a non-profit organization, is the only independent, third-party certifier of Fair Trade products in the U.S. Fair Trade is a social movement and market-based approach that aims to guarantee producers and farmers minimum floor prices and additional premiums for certified organic products. The fundamental tenants include: fair labor conditions, direct trade, democratic and transparent organizations, community development and environmental sustainability.
