Real Green Weddings
Sean and Brittany were married in Tupper Lake, New York.
About the Couple
Sean and Brittany met on a sidewalk in the summer of 2005 when Sean was visiting friends in Syracuse, NY. They ran into each other about six months later when Sean was in town again, and this time made plans to go to a party together. Sean ended up going back home but continued talking to Brittany on the phone, and they started visiting each other every couple of weeks until Sean decided to move to Syracuse. Brittany and Sean eventually ended up moving into the house they were standing in front of when they first met, and on that very same sidewalk, Sean asked Brittany to marry him.
Brittany is a Molecular Biologist working at SRC in Syracuse. Sean is an artist who does everything from murals and art shows to designing skateboard products like decks, trucks and apparel. Right now he is also apprenticing a Tattoo Artist named John Biswell out of Portland, Maine.
Decision to Go Green
Sean and Brittany enjoy the outdoors and wanted to share that with their guests. The Wild Center in the Adirondacks was the perfect location for them because it not only represented the beauty of an area they loved, but it was also green and sustainable.
