Real Green Weddings
Krista Chavez and Tim Weiant were married on June 28, 2008 in Livermore, California.
About the Couple:
Krista and Tim, both emergency department nurses internationally and locally, met while Krista was in school completing her rotations at UCSF. Tim was one of the attending nurses that she met. She admired his skill, compassion and extensive knowledge, and the two began a close friendship. Eventually, that friendship turned into something deeper.
Decision to go Green:
Going green was not a conscious decision that the couple sat down and made during the wedding planning. Krista and Tim live a very green lifestyle, so having a green wedding was a natural extension of who they already are, and what they believe is important.
