Real Green Weddings
Jaymie Paige Stein and Zachary Amos Green were married on May 29, 2010 in Marlboro, New Jersey.
About the Couple
Jaymie, an artist and art teacher and Zach, owner of Princeton Stained Glass and an artist, musician, and actor, met at Mason Gross School of the Arts, at Rutgers University in 2001. They took an art class together and met during a break from the long studio class. It didn't take long for them to become friends when they discovered their many shared interests, including a love for the arts and music. Zach was in a band and started coming over to Jaymie’s to play music with her roommates and their friendship flourished. The following year they decided to live together in a house with several other people. Before they knew it, they were dating. They were together for close to seven years when they got engaged amongst the Redwoods, a story they shared with the Green Bride Guide to win our recent Engagement Story Contest!
Their Decision to Go Green
The bride and groom felt that their wedding was an opportunity to share their values of green living with their guests. Jaymie adds, “Zach’s last name is Green, so there was no other way to get married, but 'Greenly.'”
