Real Green Weddings
The Wild Center, located in Tupper Lake, NY in the Adirondacks is a gorgeous and eco-friendly event venue. A non-profit organization, the Wild Center educates the public on the Adirondack ecosystem and how to preserve it.
Beyond being a sustainable venue itself, the Wild Center assisted the couple in making all aspects of their wedding green. They supplied linens, gave green vendor recommendations, and assisted in the purchasing of carbon offsets for the wedding to support alternative energy. They also took care of recycling all appropriate materials, and composting the left over food after the celebration.
The outdoor ceremony was held alongside the pond behind the museum.
