The couple’s backyard reception featured centerpieces, candles and a variety of mason jars collected by Jill’s mom from various thrift stores and antique shops. The tent was decorated with pieces saved from Jill’s mom's sewing projects throughout the years. The table runners were made by Jill’s mom and are now repurposed in Jill and Tim’s home as throw pillow covers.
Jill and Tim brewed their own beer and used recycled bottles for their brew. A personal and unique touch they added was a beer tasting for their guests since the couple first met at a craft beer festival.
They also created chalkboards from recycled wood that had the seating assignments and the menu displayed. Dessert was locally grown fruit pies from Marion's Pies.
