Real Green Weddings
Susan’s flowy dress was purchased for $55 from a local Baltimore vendor, Oh! Said Rose/Ma Petite Shoe, near her bookstore. The stunning earrings adorning her look she found in in Jaipur, India a few years back. They were also a steal for only about $3! Larry’s wedding outfit was Indian-inspired and purchased from Sari Palace in Langley Park, Maryland.
For their rings, the couple stuck to their eco-friendly values. Susan’s engagement ring was found on the Green Bride Guide website and purchased from Ruff & Cut, a green and ethical jewelry company. The rough, uncut diamond from Ruff & Cut is also what inspired Larry's purchase of the gold mine in Bolivia. Her wedding band belonged to her paternal grandfather and is from the 1920s. She also bought Larry’s wedding band in England from a certified Fair Trade jeweler, Cred.
