Real Green Weddings
For the venue, the couple chose family-owned Craven Farm in Snohomish, Washington. The location was beautiful, and the bride and groom were happy to support small, local farmers.
All of the couple's wedding-related celebrations were planned with the environment in mind. Jackie’s wedding shower took place at Café Flora, a vegetarian restaurant in Seattle, and the rehearsal dinner took place at Dave’s parents’ home. It was catered by Shalimar, an Indian restaurant where the couple had their first date. Dave’s mother supported their green theme by hand-sewing tablecloths and napkins from recycled thrift store fabrics for the event.
