To continue the DIY focus, Rachel crafted boutonnieres out of old ribbon and buttons instead of using flowers, and her garter was handmade from her great grandmother's old lace handkerchief. She also used a handkerchief of her late grandfather's to wrap around the bouquet. Rachel then used ribbon her mother had found and extra ribbon from the boutonnieres as a creative finishing touch.
