Real Green Weddings
When marriage was first discussed between Jonathan and Lori, the bride was against a ring. As Lori tells us, “I suggested an engagement vintage car or an engagement puppy! But, finally I told him that if he got a ring it needed to be recycled gold and absolutely no diamond.”
Jonathan looked online, but really wanted to sit down and talk with someone about his options. He found a local jeweler in Austin who not only used recycled metal but also was eco-friendly in the disposal of the chemicals used during the creation process. The groom chose a green stone, her favorite color, to be set in her ring.
