Real Green Weddings
Tamsyn and Chris wanted to give something meaningful while giving back to the earth. They knew that they wanted live tree seedlings as gifts for their guests, but they wanted a species of tree native to both Missouri and Pennsylvania that would be the most likely to survive. They eventually found a tree nursery, Itasca Greenhouse, Inc, that has river birches. They loved the symbolic connection to the river, as well as the heartiness of this tree.
Tamsyn made the favor bags using brown kraft bags and a rubber stamper. These were embellished with colored pens and and vintage inspired gift tags were purchased form Etsy. For immediate gratification, chocolate bon bons from the local Belgian chocolate shop Chocolaterie Stam were given out!
