With all the hype surrounding weddings, it can be easy to get swept up in the glitz and glamor of planning or feel the pressure of family and friends if they don't understand your choices. Just remember that your wedding is about you and your significant other -- it's a reflection of your beliefs, personalities, aspirations and desires.
More importantly, feel satisfied knowing that in almost all details, you remain true to yourselves! The elements of our wedding all came together perfectly; we loved the location and the ambiance of our wedding; and we can feel mentally at ease knowing that when we look back on our wedding, we'll feel like we made the right decisions, both from an environmental and an ethical standpoint.
While we ended up being a little over the budget we'd set, we spent significantly less than the average wedding costs these days. It doesn't take a lot of money to create a truly beautiful, personalized and memorable wedding!
