These pompoms used at the reception were handmade by Laura. The tabletops were adorned with "acorns" Laura fashioned from discarded acorn caps and woolen felt, as well as old medicine, liquor and milk bottles collected from friends and family.
Number cards, designed by Matt and Laura, were printed on recycled paper fastened into re-purposed corks cut flat on one side. The centerpiece lace placemats were cut from scraps of leftover lace.
The dinner menu display was made from recycled birch plywood, chalkboard paint, and a re-purposed crutch as a kickstand.
