Real Green Weddings
Though Deanna and Dave tried their hardest to serve organic meals for the weekend of their wedding, they found it was too expensive and in many cases not available. They chose the next best thing by offering guests organic potatoes and vegetables in their reception dinner. The guest favor was fair-trade chocolate Buddha treats that are handmade with organic dark chocolate with ginger.
Instead of purchasing a big, expensive wedding cake, Deanna and Dave had a relative make Jamaican Rum Cake. It was served in small slices with 100% recycled thank you notes and family photos attached.
