Not many new items were purchased to create the look and feel of the reception; most everything was crafted, created and/or repurposed. The bride explains that, “a collaboration of flea market finds, antiques, and salvaged woods… all played a part in creating the shabby, eclectic, and country rustic look we were going for.” Antique milk glasses, crates, apples, and other innovative accessories were used throughout the d?r.
A perfect example of the innovative d?r was on the drink table. Pitchers of lemonade and iced tea were placed on glass tabletops with green apples underneath.
