Real Green Weddings
The couple chose the gorgeous natural setting of Killarney Lake for their ceremony and reception. The ceremony was held outdoors, and the reception was inside the Killarney Lake Lodge nearby.
Stephanie and Shane also conserved paper by inviting guests to their wedding and all the associated celebrations (shower, stag, etc) through Evite. They only sent seven wedding invitations, all on 100% post-consumer recycled paper, to guests who did not have Internet access. In the end, the couple was happy to be able to get responses back much more quickly via email, and to read the personal notes that guests added in their responses. They forewent wedding ceremony programs to further conserve paper.
