Real Green Weddings
The couple wanted to provide their guests with beautiful, outdoor scenery and a backyard feel, so they took the time to renovate the farm as part of their planning. They also sought to portray the history and authenticity of the farm.
Part of the wedding was held in 60-year old tobacco barn on the property. The bride’s family spent a great deal of time and effort cleaning it out and refinishing so that it could be used for shade and dancing.
“We wanted everyone that came to have an authentic experience in this small town, so we are so happy that we used local vendors and local produce that really represents that place and the people who always live there,” Charley and Kevin told us.
