Real Green Weddings
The menu at Clay Hill Farm is always seasonal and includes both organic and locally grown sustainable foods from Maine. Organic meats and produce are available as well as fresh seafood from the Maine coast.
The cake was provided by Hippie Chick Bakery. It was gorgeously designed to represent where the bride and groom were from. The eggs came from the bakery's own flock of organic free range rescue shelter chickens. Many of the fruits and all of the flowers used in baking come from their own organic garden or from local farms they work with.
The rehearsal luncheon was done by Bintliff's Ogunquit. This restaurant actively participates in energy and water conservation, and tries to reduce the chemicals they use in day-to-day practices. They also use local products whenever possible and educate their employees and customers on their eco-friendly practices.
The truffles were made by Kristin F. Simmons. These scrumptious treats were made with organic and premium ingredients, and all dairy products were locally sourced.
All-natural food donations were provided by Kinnealey Distributors.
