Karen and Jeremy chose to give their guests chocolate favors from the local shop, Recchiuti Confections. They even added a whimsical touch by adding a card which read “Save the earth. It's the only planet with chocolate.” Inside, the card informed guests that their weekend was offset through Carbon Fund. Through doing so, the couple ended up offsetting 21.5 tons of carbon after taking into account their guests' travel, hotel accommodations, and the impact of the reception.
