Doug designed the invitations and printed them on recycled paper.
Alyson’s grandmother hosted both the ceremony and reception in her backyard, allowing a single meaningful location for both parts of their celebration.
The bride's simple but elegant dress was from JCrew, and her jewelry was handmade by Teresa Swanson Jewelry. The couple’s childhood best friend married them, and the wedding party consisted of Doug's brother and Alyson’s sister. The couple asked them to choose their own attire in their color palette, and Alyson's sister chose a bright yellow dress and red shoes, and Doug's brother wore a vibrant yellow tie.
