Real Green Weddings
The couple used mason jars bought from thrift stores as candleholders for the tables, and Doug created several hanging lanterns out of the jars as well. Afterward, Alyson and Doug kept the mason jars for canning and pickling.
For table runners, the couple used burlap cut into strips by Alyson’s mother and a friend; afterward Doug and Alyson kept the extra pieces for their garden and gave the rest to a friend for her pottery displays.
