Real Green Weddings
One of Michael and Keri's goals for their wedding was to show people that they don't have to forgo their dreams just to be responsible. So, Keri purchased her dream gown, and tried to figure out a way to make it greener. She was thrilled to discover Brides Against Breast Cancer, an organization that takes bridal gowns and accessories and sells them to other brides. The profits from these sales go toward making wishes come true for women with terminal breast cancer. Though she was sad to see her dress go, it seemed a great way to have her not-so-green dream wedding gown, while still honoring her values.
