The ceremony décor featured a variety of hand crafted items made by Emily and Matt's family and friends. The path up to the meadow where the ceremony was held was lined with two hundred organza flowers with antique pearl centers and fifty felted hearts with antique buttons made by friend and bridesmaid, Kate. The beautiful chuppah was made from bamboo poles and blooming Portulaca plants built by Jonathan and his son, Galen. The traditional fabric above the couple was made by Emily’s aunt, Sue, and doubled as a tablecloth for the couple’s home to commemorate their wedding day. The guests were seated on hay bales from a local farm that were covered in vintage hand blocked Indian textiles. The décor and set-up of the ceremony enhanced the serene surroundings and helped to create the perfect scene for Emily and Matt to exchange vows.
