Instead of a cocktail hour, the couple had a cookie hour. Various friends and family members brought their favorite homemade cookies to share and guests were encouraged to try them all. As Danya explained, "I love to bake and Matt loves to eat cookies. Also my grandmother (who passed away 10 years ago) always believed in dessert first. We really wanted to get as many people involved in the wedding as possible, so we asked the community to provide cookies. Even a few people who couldn't make it sent cookies in the mail!"
