Instead of using one-time-only flowers, the bride’s bouquet was made from vintage brooches by her dress designer. The bride’s necklace, hair piece and matching clutch were also made from the same designer who repurposed pieces she already had in her boutique.
The bride’s grandparents were a very large part of her life. Her grandmother had passed away a couple of years prior and her grandfather passed away just a few days before their wedding. To incorporate their memory into their wedding, a lot of the small touches were because of them. The handmade pinwheels were included because the bride’s grandmother always had pinwheels in her garden. They were saved and will be used in their (future) baby’s room as decorations.
Lane' also included a locket with a picture of her grandparents that was attached to the bouquet to keep them near her during her special day.
