Real Green Weddings
The bride is a master recycler (yes, it’s an official title in the Portland Metro area!) and knew from the start that she wanted to be a role model to their 100 or so guests. She couldn’t talk the talk and not walk the walk. So, she set out to make their wedding a green event following three simple rules: everything had to be borrowed, used, or homemade/DIY. In addition, everything had to be easily recycled or a new home found for it (upcycled) to create as little waste as possible. By following these guidelines, the couple not only kept with their eco-goal, but kept their wedding costs to a minimum, too!
