Amanda and Ben's wedding was located at the Historic Harriet Upton House in downtown Warren, Ohio. They chose to keep their wedding very small. Although this wasn't exactly what their families wanted, the couple chose to spend their day with people that they love.
One of their favorite parts of their wedding day was the venue, a beautiful home and garden was the perfect fit for their intimate eco-friendly ceremony. Amanda grew up in Warren and one of her favorite places was the old “Millionaires Row” downtown. This area consists of the first Victorian homes in the area and most are still preserved by the local Historical Society or by local businesses.
The house was rented for only a $75 donation and they were allowed full access to the home and furnishings. The wedding and reception all took place at one location so there was no need for any car service, which cut emissions.
