“I raided stores like Goodwill and The Salvation Army for our planters, vases, and candle holders. I even thrifted fourteen matching vases that we filled up with tan-hued river rocks from around our home in Annapolis.”
The couple minimized the use of cut flowers at the reception. Instead, they purchased potted perennials and planters from second-hand stores for their centerpieces. After the event, some were brought home and others were planted right on the grounds of the Brewing Station.
