Both Kim and Brian practice a vegan lifestyle: Kim for fifteen years, and Brian for three. The couple chose to be vegan for ethical, health, and environmental reasons. "Brian ran his fastest marathon after becoming vegan!" Kim adds.
Since veganism is such an important part of the life they share, they worked to incorporate its many benefits into their ceremony and reception. Inside the beautiful reception building, guests enjoyed an all-vegan gourmet dinner buffet, created by chef DeAnna Likens. Vegan cakes, created by Terri Bell of Cakes and Crumbs, were served for both the rehearsal dinner and the wedding.
