The bride and groom conserved paper at the reception by choosing not to print out seating cards or programs. They also used potted greenery already on the farm for their table centerpieces.
On their tables, guests also found information about the unique wedding favors. In their guests' names, Kim and Brian gifted fifteen microloans to poverty-stricken people in different parts of the world to assist them in starting their own businesses. They made these donations through the sponsoring organization, Kiva, and then printed two cards per table explaining the gift.
