Real Green Weddings
Erich and Melissa didn't feel the need to spend a lot of money on wedding favors, so instead they set up a photo booth. Their eco-friendly photographer, Photo by Eleonore, took the pictures, which the couple then developed using green techniques and sent to their guests. They also registered with the I Do Foundation to raise charitable donations instead of receiving too many useless gifts.
Melissa said, “My only thought, like most brides, was I wanted to have an amazing and laughter-filled wedding with family and friends that people would be talking about well after the event. After all, if a green wedding planner can't pull off her own wonderful eco-chic wedding, she has no right trying to convince other brides to do the same.”
