Real Green Weddings
The bride wore her mother-in-law’s wedding dress, which she took to a local seamstress to make it all her own. This green choice helped the bride create a special connection with her mother-in-law, while still representing her personal style AND keeping her wedding budget in mind! Jacqui also chose her favorite kitten heeled purple shoes, which she wears often, for her wedding day footwear.
Jacqui’s mother and bridal party purchased dresses from consignment and secondhand shops, such as Love Me Two Times, or once-worn from eBay. The groom and groomsmen were also encouraged to purchase suits that could be worn again.
