Lisa purchased her wedding dress from a bridal consignment shop. She also found a beautiful necklace from that same store that had been purchased by the shop's owner at an Estate Sale. The bride chose a pair of red shoes with future use in mind.
Shawn's niece, who was the maid-of-honor, also purchased a once-worn dress. Shawn's sister made capes for the bride and maid-of-honor out of a wind proof fleece and red silk to help them keep warm.
Shawn and his best man (his nephew) wore outfits sewn by the mother of the groom. The groom wore a pair of dress shoes that he already owned.
For the outdoor photos, the bride and groom both wore mukluks in keeping with the fun winter theme.
