Real Green Weddings
Erin and Geoff Eisenberg were married on July 25, 2009 at the Maple Cake Farm in Randolph Center, VT.
About the Couple
Erin and Geoff met while studying abroad in Dublin, Ireland. They found that they shared a variety of interests and soon after started dating. Vermont is common ground between the couple’s respective hometowns, so it became a very special place to them. When they got engaged, then, they knew it would be the perfect place to host their wedding.
Erin studied local food systems and the connections between farmers and eaters as a student at the Yale School of Management and has continued that work as Executive Director of CitySeed, a nonprofit in New Haven, CT. Geoff has been working on renewable energy and cleantech projects at Aquillian Investments based in San Francisco, CA.
Decision to Go Green
The bride tells us, “We have both spent the past few years focusing on sustainability… Our personal and professional interests are very intertwined and we wanted our commitment to sustainability to be reflected in our wedding.”
