Real Green Weddings
Amanda Vislosky and Ben Johnson were married on September 26th, 2009 at the Historic Harriet Upton House in Warren, Ohio.
About the Couple:
Amanda and Ben first became friends while working at CVS together. Six months in they began dating and six years later they wed. They waited to get married until Amanda was finished with school where she majored in Graphic Design. Ben is a wedding photographer.
The Decision to Go Green:
Being green is an important part of Ben and Amanda's daily lives and they wanted their wedding to reflect their values. They had a very small wedding budget and saved a lot of money by making simple green choices. Amanda bought the flowers for her bouquet from a local shop and even grew her own lavender ahead of time to add to it.
