How They Met

Dean and Sara met at Yale's School of Public Health where they were both studying environmental health issues.  Dean is now a post doc at the Division of Cancer Epidemiology and Genetics at the National Cancer Institute where his research focuses on lung cancer risk and smoky coal exposure.  Sara is a second year doctoral student at the School of Forestry and Environmental Studies looking at institutional sustainability and innovation diffusion.  "We wanted to make our wedding reflect the work we do and the type of lives we lead so we fully embraced making our wedding as sustainable as possible."
