The bride and groom met through a close friend after being invited to spend a fun day hanging out and surfing. A week later, they had their first date. The following weekend consisted of a long drive down the Oregon coast, more surfing, grilling on the beach and stargazing. These two avid adventurers have now embarked on the greatest adventure yet: marriage!

Kathy, an Administrative Assistant for a school district and Greg, who assembles airplane parts for Hexcel, met when their sons played on the same baseball team. They started as friends and soon realized that their friendship had grown into more. They now have a blended family of five sons ranging in ages from 9 to 14, all of whom were attendants at their wedding.

When this couple (who prefer to remain anonymous) got engaged, they sent around an e-mail announcement to friends and family. By making the card with Photoshop and e-mailing it, they were able to tell all of their friends and family at once, while saving paper and postage.

The couple first met while attending Harvey Mudd College and reconnected years later while Ronalee was finishing her PhD in biomedical engineering and David was starting a consulting job.
The Decision to Go Green
Neither David nor Ronalee wanted to have a particularly large wedding, but because they both have big families they decided to focus on having as little impact as was practical.
