How They Met
Meghan and Peter met in DC while working for a non-profit that helps indigenous peoples and environmental organizations. They dated for three years before getting engaged. As Meghan recalls, "Pete and I were both in Peru for work (we scheduled it to work out that way) and we took a quick vacation to Cusco and Machu Picchu. In Cusco, Pete took me to the place where his parents had lived when they were in Peace Corps there in the 60s. Then he proposed in the same building where his parents were married."
