Faxon Green is a premiere eco-chic floral design studio with sustainable ethics and practices. They are careful to compost and recycle everything in their studio. No floral foam or plastic is ever used and vases are always recycled after a wedding! Only natural elements such as glass, pottery, rocks, metal (mainly copper) wood and vines are used as decorative elements in the vases. To keep an arrangement fresh for more than two days, follow these tips: Do not put any of the leaves or stems in the water. It is the foliage that makes water slimy. If the bouquet is meant for one or two days of optimal freshness, then it's fine to have foliage in the water. When you change the water every two days, snip the stems at least 1/4" and rinse the vase twice with cold water. If you are looking for sustainable flowers in the New England area, Faxon Green provides the best floral arrangements and bouquets for your green wedding!
